My mother died, not because of the Covid but because I couldn’t be there and help her. The isolation was a direct cause of her loss and I feel I could be a valuable advocate in this cause. My grandson and I were great friends with so many people at the facility my mom was at, and I think about them all the time. Most I knew only by their first names, but some have no one, and I would just spend time with them, letting them talk about anything they wanted. I feel passionately about this issue.
